I advise trustees on investment strategies to get the best risk-adjusted returns from their assets.
With 20 years of experience as an actuary advising trustees and companies on funding and management of their pension schemes, I specialise in developing investment strategies which reflect the trustees' cashflow requirements, funding objectives and the sponsoring employer's financial strength.
Recent investment advisory work includes: advising trustees on a new framework for hedging their pension scheme liabilities; advising a charity on the investment strategy for its endowment funds; advising pension scheme trustees on the selection and implementation of a global infrastructure fund; and the insurance buy-in of their pensioner' liabilities.
Alongside my investment advisory role, I have broad experience in employee share plans; providing valuation and accounting advice to companies ranging from FTSE100s to privately owned companies looking to float in the near future.
If you distil everything about LCP down to one thing, it is 'I trust what they are telling us'.
