New guidance has been published by The Pensions Regulator (TPR) to help pension scheme trustees invest in private market assets.

Stephen Budge, Partner at LCP, commented: “We’re really pleased to see the new private market guidance available from the regulator as it offers further assurance to Trustees of DC schemes around investing in these asset classes. This topic has continually been an area where the UK has looked notably behind other DC markets, such as Australia. 

But that’s now changing with new fund launches and scheme appointments. We’re pleased to see that the regulator continues to support the focus in this area.
