LCP is delighted to be named the winner of the Award for Supporting Diversity at the inaugural Professional Pensions Women in Pensions Awards 2018, which took place last night (26 June) at Hilton London Bankside.
The prestigious awards shine a light on the achievements of women and companies in the pensions industry, whether they are role models, mentors, a rising star or work hard to promote diversity, with the hope of inspiring others.
Aaron Punwani, LCP strategy partner and co-head of our Diversity & Inclusion Steering Group, comments:
“LCP’s vision is to have an inclusive workplace where all forms of diversity are valued. We value and recognise how different people with individual qualities and skills combine to create a balanced and dynamic workforce where everyone can flourish and our clients get exceptional service.
We’ve come a long way over the last few years and are honoured to receive the level of industry recognition of our progress in support of diversity that comes from being the first ever recipient of this prestigious award. We still have more to do, and I look forward to seeing our D&I initiatives flourish even further in the future."
Jill Ampleford, LCP partner, and co-head of our Diversity & Inclusion Steering Group comments:
“At LCP, we recognise that everyone should have the opportunity to fulfil their potential and we work hard to make this vision a reality. The last few years have seen us launch or develop further a number of D&I initiatives, building on and broadening out from our successful and well-established Women’s Network. This has included Agile working, support for those with parental and other caring responsibilities, a Returners programme and our newly launched LGBT+ Network.
We’re delighted to receive this award, marking our achievement, in the inaugural Women in Pensions awards. The awards are a great opportunity to showcase female talent and will hopefully lead to inspiring other women in our sector to achieve even greater things!"
