Challenging the status quo

The economic and political shocks seem to get more frequent and more severe, but as an industry we take very little time to step back and challenge the status quo to see if there’s a better way. At our inaugural investment conference, we’ll do just that.
We’re delighted to share our agenda and speaker biographies.
We will be joined by world class global economics experts as our keynote speakers, to share their insights on how macro issues interact with key investment themes:
- Martin Wolf, Chief Economics Commentator at the Financial Times, will discuss the intersections of globalisation, democracies, and investments
- Lucrezia Reichlin, Professor of Economics at London Business School and former ECB Director General of Research, will share her expert perspectives on Europe and the global inflation phenomenon
- Sir Charles Bean, Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics, former Deputy Governor and Chief Economist of the Bank of England, and former executive member of the UK Office for Budget Responsibility, will discuss UK-specific challenges within the global macroeconomic framework
Our in-house investment experts will also deliver a wide range of thought-provoking sessions covering various asset classes as well as emerging trends, disruptive technologies, investment strategies and more. We’ll provide:
- Concise and engaging keynote speeches on these topics
- A new approach to familiar subjects as we explore investment fundamentals from the standpoint of different asset owners
- Insights into the megatrends that will shape the business landscape of the next decade
Our evening drinks reception will also give you an opportunity to network with peers and industry experts.
Who should attend?
Join investment decision-makers and thinkers from pension funds, sovereign funds, charities, endowments, wealth managers and insurers from the UK and beyond.
