Later this year we expect the Regulator will finalise its “Single Code of Practice”, which includes new expectations of trustees for an Effective System of Governance (“ESOG”) and an annual Own Risk Assessment ("ORA") that reviews the ESOG.
Following on from the success of our Guide to the ESOG, we are pleased to share the Own Risk Assessments Made Simple Guide, which we have produced in collaboration with PLSA.
There is little guidance on how schemes should approach the ORA, what the finished product should look like and how smaller schemes can meet the requirements. Our Made Simple Guide aims to cut through some of the uncertainty around the ORA and to give practical tips on how to collate the information needed.
- An overview of TPR’s Single code of practice
- An introduction to own risk assessments
- Practical tips on how to structure your ORA
- Spotlight on good governance
