Steve Webb welcomed Charles Counsell, CEO of The Pensions Regulator, to an informal conversation to discuss TPR's agenda and priorities for the coming year.

With 2021 promising significant regulatory activity in the pensions sphere, the conversation covered a variety of subjects of relevance to DB and DC schemes as well as sponsors.

Topics included the new Pension Schemes Act and incoming regulations, the new funding and governance codes, climate change, master trusts, superfunds, automatic enrolment, and what we need to know about scams.
