I’m a qualified pensions actuary specialising in corporate and longevity de-risking advice. As a Senior Consultant, I help sponsors of pension schemes develop funding and investment strategies which align with their objectives, constraints and risk appetites. This also includes advising and managing strategic projects such as benefit design change and liability management exercises.
I am a member of LCP’s specialist insurance de-risking team and help clients complete insurance buy-ins and buy-outs. Apart from providing technical advice, my focus is ensuring schemes have the best chance of securing insurer engagement and pricing outcomes by preparing well in advance of approaching the market. This includes managing the many stakeholders involved in this process, which puts my people skills and ability to clearly communicate complex information to good use.
I am also the Chair of LCP’s Multicultural Network which aims to help nurture a race-inclusive culture at LCP as well as raise awareness around BAME issues in the workplace.
In my spare time, I volunteer with a local charity which supports former rough sleepers. You’ll also find me either researching new restaurants to try out or catching up on the latest binge-worthy television series.
LCP are a professional organisation, which understands the clients' needs and demonstrates the depth and creativity of its experience in the solutions it provides.
