I have been an LCP partner for over 20 years, and have 30 years' practical experience of working with both Trustee and corporate clients.
I have a vast range of pensions experience including advising on scheme funding, corporate acquisitions and accounting, public sector outsourcing arrangements, as well as scheme closure and winding up. I also have recent experience of advising on PPF entry and Section 75.
As well as strong technical skills, I firmly believe that a good consultant should be accessible, regularly communicate with clients and ideally deliver ahead of schedule. I believe these traits are the reason my clients – including some I started working with I joined LCP 27 years ago – continue working with me. My clients tell me that they appreciate my pragmatic hands on and can deliver attitude.
Outside of the office I enjoy walking with my Gordon Setter dogs over Dartmoor. I also follow (any) sports, but due to the ageing process I gave up my greatest passion of playing football a “few” years back, but still get my working in a team environment “fix” from within LCP.
In these challenging times one has to think outside of the box. LCP do this.

How I can help
We provide individual and high quality actuarial advice, taking a collaborative approach between trustees, employer and advisers, to ensure a focus on good member outcomes.
We help both trustees and sponsors prepare for and deal with corporate change.
We help pension scheme trustees and sponsors to determine the ultimate destination for their scheme and help them put together a plan to get there, including how to effectively manage the risks they face along the way.
