John Parnis England
I am an expert in covenant services, skilled at giving up to date, insightful and wide-ranging covenant advice to both Trustees and Corporate Sponsors. I approach covenant engagements in an integrated manner, working collaboratively with investment and actuarial advisors as well as key stakeholders to enable clients to make better and more effective decisions.
I am knowledgeable about the regulatory landscape, delivering advice to Trustees and Corporate Sponsors in the context of the Pension Regulator’s guidelines. During my time at LCP, I have also been heavily involved in the development of innovative technology such as LCP Sonar. This is our bespoke risk profiling tool designed to help our clients understand the covenant, funding and investment risks of their pension scheme and how these risks interact with each other.
I have a BSc in Economics and an MSc in Risk & Finance and qualified as a member of the ICAEW in 2017. My strong and varied financial background enables me to give insightful and well rounded advice when advising my clients on their covenant strength.
With a lack of an all-round knowledge in pensions, LCP provide clear and understandable information when asked which makes my decision making easier.
How I can help
We help trustees understand and monitor the employer covenant.
LCP Sonar, our risk profiling tool, benchmarks your scheme against other pension schemes, covering covenant, funding and investment risks. You can quickly see how your scheme’s risk profile compares to others and think about the key risks for you.
We help pension scheme trustees and sponsors to determine the ultimate destination for their scheme and help them put together a plan to get there, including how to effectively manage the risks they face along the way.
