I’m Ed and I am a part-qualified actuary in the Insurance Consulting team. I joined LCP in 2019 after graduating from the University of Nottingham where I studied Mathematical Sciences.
I help clients in a wide range of areas, such as reserving, claims modelling, internal model validation and Part VII transfers. I have worked with a variety of clients from different backgrounds such as Lloyd’s Syndicates, Personal lines insurers and P&I clubs.
Working with LCP feels like being part of a bigger team. The collaborative approach is a breath of fresh air compared with previous advisors.

We work with insurers to help them better understand and manage the risks they face and their capital requirements.
We provide an alternative, external view on the best estimate level of reserves for insurers and also help them understand the key drivers of variability around that best estimate.
