Hello, I’m David, a Partner in the investment team. I work alongside a range of trustees, sponsors and in-house teams in setting and implementing investment strategies.
The schemes that I work with are all different shapes and sizes, from the tens of millions to the tens of billions, each with their own aims, funding levels and covenant. I help my clients focus on the bigger picture and set a clear journey plan to achieving their objectives.
While I work on some of LCP’s largest schemes, I take pride in implementing the same sophisticated strategies for smaller schemes too. For example, I’ve been at the forefront in working with investment managers to develop pooled funds for the use of all schemes.
I’m also part of LCP’s LDI and derivatives team and am passionate about bringing the latest thinking and new ideas to all the schemes we advise on.
Throughout my time at LCP, it’s great to have been able to help organisations achieve their objectives, whether that’s buying out smaller schemes, buying-in pensioners, hitting de-risking triggers, implementing cashflow matching strategies or working collaboratively with the trustee and sponsor to set up an LDI strategy.
