I am an experienced scheme actuary and corporate adviser with over 30 years' experience advising a range of clients on all aspects of their pension arrangements including funding, investment strategy and risk reduction.
I help corporates and trustees in collaborating together to establish and implement effective funding and investment strategies and appropriate risk mitigation measures. Clients appreciate the way in which I provide insight on pensions issues from both the corporate and trustee perspective, which they find to be of great benefit in achieving the optimal outcome in negotiations between trustees and the employer.
I am Head of LCP's M&A Practice advising both purchasers and sellers on the pensions aspects of both UK and international deals, including due diligence, and trustee and Pensions Regulator negotiations. I also advise on many buy-out and buy-in transactions using the skills that I have built up from advising on mergers and acquisitions to ensure the efficient execution of transactions for my clients.
