In this blog, Dan Mikulskis asks how well you have TESTED the impact of your covenant on your investment strategy.
I have a number of years of experience advising on investment strategy, most recently as an investment-specialist at Redington where I led the DB business. In this role I helped develop and oversee the investment strategy & modelling process that underpinned asset allocations and I advised some of the largest DB pension schemes and wealth managers.
I’m an established industry thought-leader having published many well-read blogs and papers over the years relating to investment and DB pensions. My recent research has focused around how DB schemes can invest for their endgame as they mature. I am a member of several industry working groups. Previously I held derivatives focused roles at Macquarie bank and Deutsche Bank, and I started my career as an investment consultant at Mercer where I developed models used in some of the early LDI hedging projects.
I am a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and have an MA in mathematics from Trinity College Cambridge.
