LCP announces 16 new partner promotions

Today, LCP is pleased to announce that 16 people have been newly promoted to partner positions across various areas of the business.

Commenting, Stephen Davies, Managing Partner at LCP, said:

“Our new partners are from a wide range of areas across the firm, demonstrating the breadth and depth of our talent, and we are delighted to welcome them to the partnership. They have guided clients through tough times as well as helped them identify future opportunities. Their dynamism and forward-thinking approach will play a big part in our journey as a firm as we continue to grow and diversify.” 

The promotions include:

  • Beenesh Googoolye joined LCP's Investment practice in 2007 and is an actuary. After a short period at Hymans Robertson in 2016, he re-joined LCP in 2020 before being promoted to Principal in 2022. Beenesh’s specialist areas include defined benefit investment, responsible investment, TCFD requirements, climate scenario analysis, and central banks.
  • Ben Bray joined LCP as a Principal in the Health Analytics team in 2021. His specialist areas include medicine, epidemiology, and data science, as well as supporting clients with real world evidence generation.
  • Ben Smith joined LCP in 2021 and leads our Digital Services department. Ben is a member of the Technology Oversight Group and Information Security & Data Protection Committees. He helps to ensure that technology change aligns with strategy, enables continued growth, incorporates emerging trends like AI, and is delivered with appropriate safeguards.
  • Chris Holly joined LCP in 2010 and was promoted to Senior Consultant in 2017 and Principal in 2020. Chris is an experienced project manager and trustee secretary. He has worked on some of the largest TPA selection exercises in the industry, including first-time outsourcing exercises.

  • Dan Osborne joined our Pensions Actuarial team in 2016 before moving to what is now Digital Services in 2019. He is part of the team which builds, maintains and develops LCP’s pensions modelling system. Dan’s specialist areas include benefit modelling, GMP equalisation and anti-franking.

  • Jinita Shah joined LCP in 2006 as a graduate in the Insurance Consulting practice and was promoted to team leader in 2011. Jinita specialises in advising London market non-life insurers on reserving and capital, providing Irish clinical negligence insurance advice. She also leads LCP’s Diversity in Leadership in the insurance industry initiative and organises and co-hosts LCP’s Insurance NED roundtables.

  • Joshua Chadwick (Josh) joined LCP as a graduate in 2012, first working in the Pensions Actuarial department and then moving to the modelling team in 2014. He now leads the LCP Visualise development team, helping to build new ideas and functionality. Josh also supports with training and development of the wider team.
  • Julian Jones joined LCP in 2002 and proudly reached 20 years of service in 2022. Julian’s specialist areas are pension scheme buyouts and wind ups, project management and pensions actuarial advice.
  • Lorraine Porter joined LCP in 2013 and has since focused on building relationships with employer sponsors and trustees. She leads our Lawyer Network engagement and is an active partner champion for our Multicultural Network. Alongside this, Lorraine manages the relationship with the AMNT and is also a member of the PASA accreditation committee.
  • Lydia Fearn initially joined LCP in 2007 until 2013. From 2013, she gained valuable experience at Barclays, Redington and Capita, before re-joining LCP in 2022. Her specialist areas include defined contributed pensions and investment.
  • Ricky Patel joined LCP in 2021 following a move from PwC. He has supported trustees and sponsors in making major strategic and de-risking decisions. As a senior member of LCP's De-risking practice, he has helped transfer billions of pounds of pension liabilities to the insurance market on attractive terms, allowing schemes to secure their members' benefits over the long term.
  • Rowena Bell joined LCP as Head of HR in 2021. As a Partner, she continues to support the firm in our goals to be an employer of choice. Rowena believes that LCP's greatest asset is its people, and is committed to fostering a culture of inclusivity, respect, and innovation that enables our people to thrive.
  • Sarah Lossin joined LCP in 2008 as a graduate and qualified as an actuary, including as a chartered enterprise risk actuary in 2014. Sarah’s specialist areas include liability management, consolidators, de-risking and pension risk capital. Sarah is also heavily involved in team leadership, team development and recruitment.
  • Tim Radford joined LCP in 2020, and has specialist expertise in the areas of corporate pensions consulting, member options and M&A. He also plays an active role in developing new client relationships for the firm.
  • William Platt (Will) graduated in 2009 and became a qualified actuary in 2013, joining LCP in 2016. Will is part of LCP’s Investment team and specialises in the areas of investment strategy, pensions de-risking, asset transfers and people management.
  • Zoe Burdo is a qualified actuary who joined LCP in 2018 and, in 2022, co-hosted her first LCP Annual DB Pensions Conference. Zoe advises a wide range of clients on their pension arrangements and has a special interest in behavioural biases and group thinking. She is also a leading figure in our DEI efforts, coordinating our strategy and activity and supporting clients in this area.
