James Silber joins LCP’s growing Covenant team as Principal

LCP has welcomed James Silber as a Principal to its growing Covenant team. He has joined the firm from PwC where he was a Senior Manager in the Pensions Employer Covenant & Restructuring team.

James has many years' experience in employer covenant advisory, advising trustees and corporates on some of the UK’s largest DB schemes. He has also worked on developing approaches to incorporating climate-related factors into employer covenant reviews and assisting with TCFD processes. He has a strong understanding of the DB pensions regulatory framework, having worked at the Pensions Regulator where he was a Business Analyst and supported on policy including assisting with the preparation of Annual Funding Statements.

He will be helping to support the growth of LCP’s Covenant team and to develop their service offerings in light of regulatory changes expected in the updated code of practice on scheme funding and new covenant guidance.

Following James’ arrival, LCP’s Covenant team is now made up of 10 full time specialists who have had great success in recent years advising trustees, corporates and investors alike, providing innovative and integrated advice..
