Tim Box, senior consultant in LCP’s Research team has been appointed as Chair of the Society of Pension Professionals (SPP) DC Committee.

Tim commented: “DC is an exciting and rapidly growing part of the pensions landscape. Having been deputy chair of the committee for the last two years, I am now looking forward to the opportunity to further contribute to the debate about the future of DC.

We have seen a lot of change recently and there is more to come. The future of auto-enrolment and the expanding Master Trust space are just two of the issues that the industry is navigating and I hope to play a role in helping the SPP inform government and industry policy.”

Tim’s appointment builds on LCP’s strong presence on SPP’s committees, with Donna Matteucci being Chair of the Actuarial Committee, Tony Bacon chairing the European Sub-Committee and further LCP representatives being Shayala McRae (Legislation Committee), Matt Gibson (Investment Committee) and Amit Shanker (Administration Committee).  These representatives are one of the ways that LCP contributes to the shaping of pensions policy across all areas.
