LCP announces
10 new partner promotions

Commenting, Stephen Davies, Managing Director at LCP said: “Our new partners have demonstrated commitment, skill and leadership across the business. They will be excellent additions to the partnership, further enhancing the services we offer to clients.”

They are: 

Jonathan Balkwill is a qualified actuary with a decade of experience advising a wide variety of clients on all aspects of their pension arrangements. He is a member of LCP's Pensions Taxation Group, helping to advise clients on the ever-changing world of pensions tax.

Hannah Carpenter provides actuarial advice to trustees and sponsors of defined benefit schemes on a wide range of issues, including funding and pension accounting disclosures. She is a qualified actuary with over ten years’ experience in the industry. She is also a member of LCP’s Scheme Funding and Factors specialist group.

Fergus Collis joined LCP Ireland in 2010 and is a qualified Actuary. He supports sponsors of pension schemes, pension providers and PRSA providers in meeting their regulatory obligations. He has worked on many project based tasks for pension schemes, PRSAs and life assurance companies such as benefit projection systems, PRIIPs and the setup of new pension schemes. He is an active member of the Society of Actuaries.

Imogen Cothay qualified as an actuary in 2014 and is a member of LCP’s specialist de-risking practice, advising both trustees and sponsors looking to reduce their longevity risk through buy-ins, buy-outs and longevity swaps. She has advised on over twenty transactions, helping her clients from the early stages of their de-risking journey through to the execution of their deals.  She also advises several trustee clients on wider issues, providing support to the scheme actuary. 

Jon Forsyth sits in LCP’s Actuarial team and has over 10 years’ experience providing advice to both pension scheme trustees and sponsoring employers. He advises a wide variety of clients from charities to FTSE 100 companies and from smaller schemes to multi-billion pound schemes. 

Sam Jenkins qualified as an actuary in 2011 and is a member of LCP’s specialist de-risking practice, where he advises schemes of all sizes on both buy-in and buy-out processes.

Ben Knighton is in LCP’s investment team and advises a number of pension scheme clients. He has a particular interest in responsible investment and his other specialisms include defined benefit investment, performance monitoring and setting investment strategy

Jim Little is in LCP’s actuarial team and has over 17 years of experience.  He works on a portfolio of both corporate and trustee clients with assets ranging in size from £10m to £1bn.  Jim is a member of our GMP team and has recent experience of helping our clients tackle the issues relating to GMP rectification

Helen Stokes is in LCP’s DC team and works with DC trustees and governance groups to help design DC investment and communication strategies. She leads in implementing changes to investment strategies and has experience in designing a wide variety of DC investment strategies and arrangements.

Hayley Williams is in LCP’s Communications team and works with clients to develop and implement effective strategies for communicating with pension scheme members. She has 20 years’ experience working with clients to manage and communicate pensions change and is passionate about the importance of the member experience in all communication projects.
