LCP picked up two accolades at last night’s Pension and Investment Provider Awards (PIPA) including ‘Investment Consultant’ and ‘De-risking Consultant (buyout, buy-in, longevity swaps)’.
Earlier this month, LCP also took home the ‘Investment Consultancy of the year’ category at the UK Pensions Awards (joint winner).
The PIPA awards recognise excellence among providers of products and services to UK workplace pension schemes. The key criteria used to judge the awards are performance, innovation and service standards.
Ken Willis, Investment Partner at LCP, said: “It’s great for the team to win this award. It reflects all the hard work, commitment and innovation of our talented people, who keep finding ways to produce wow-moments, like LCP SpotLight, a new technology we’ve developed to help clients make more informed investment decisions. We’re really delighted to have been named Investment Consultancy of the Year by two leading award bodies in our industry.”
Commenting on the sixth time LCP has won the De-risking adviser category, LCP Partner Charlie Finch said, “We are thrilled to take home this award for the sixth time since 2011. To have the judges once again reward our efforts in helping UK pension schemes successfully de-risk is a great recognition of the hard work the LCP team has put in over the past 12 months. 2016 was a busy year, with our team leading on 12 out of the 24 buy-ins or buy-outs over £100m in the UK. 2017 is set to be similarly busy.”
LCP’s success at the PIPA’s brings the firm’s haul of industry awards this year to four. At the UK Pensions Awards the firm also picked up a special award for '20 years of Excellence in Consultancy'.
