Sarah MacDonnell, a leading expert on periodical payment orders (PPOs) has joined consulting actuaries Lane Clark & Peacock LLP as a Senior Consultant.
LCP partner, Charl Cronje, commented: “We are delighted to add Sarah’s considerable expertise to our team. Our insurance clients will benefit from her industry-leading insights on managing risk, particularly in the UK motor space, where PPOs add to the challenges of what is already one of the most competitive markets in the world.”
Sarah has 20 years’ experience in general insurance actuarial consulting. Her particular areas of interest are PPOs, industrial disease claims and reserve uncertainty. She has written and presented widely on the subject of PPOs and has been a core member of the PPO working party since its inception in 2010. This year she is chairing the actuarial profession’s GIROC Reserving Practice Survey working party.
Before joining LCP, Sarah worked for Towers Watson for 16 years and prior to that was with General Accident in Hong Kong.
