Provision of Services Regulations 2009
The following information is given in accordance with the Provision of Services Regulations 2009.

A letter of appointment detailing our terms and conditions will be provided at the commencement of any engagement to which they apply.
LCP is regulated by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in respect of a range of business activities.
LCP is not authorised under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 but we are able in certain circumstances to offer a limited range of investment services and insurance mediation activity – broadly the advising on, selling and administration of insurance contracts - to clients because we are licensed by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. We can provide these investment services if they are an incidental part of the professional services we have been engaged to provide.
We are included on the register maintained by the Financial Conduct Authority so that we can carry on insurance mediation activities. The register can be accessed via the Financial Conduct Authority website at www.fca.org.uk. In connection with this, our Exempt Professional Firm (“EPF”) reference number is 112927.
Actuarial services within LCP are carried out by members of the United Kingdom Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
Work undertaken by actuaries is subject to the Technical Actuarial Standards issued by the Financial Reporting Council.
Quality of service
We aim to provide a first-class service that meets your particular requirements. If you have any complaints or concerns about our work for you, we encourage you to contact the partner or partners advising you. They will discuss with you the nature of the issue and agree with you a way forward which addresses your requirements; doing so at an early stage often helps to resolve any problems in a straightforward way.
In the unfortunate event that the partner or partners who normally advise you are unable to resolve your complaint, then a member of our Executive Committee or our Senior Partner (details available on request) will investigate it promptly and carefully and do what is reasonable to resolve the difficulties.
For regulated activities, if we do not answer your complaint to your satisfaction, you may take up the matter with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
Professional indemnity insurance
