In selecting a new provider it is indeed vital to judge the underlying merits of each potential provider. Other procurement consultants may offer a comprehensive, but well-worn, Invitation to Tender (ITT). Bidders’ marketing departments are overly familiar with many of these. As a result suppliers’ responses may be scored in a very narrow range, offering little differentiation but still requiring you to read several hundreds of pages of proposals.
