Trustee Knowledge Advisory Service

The Pensions Act 2004 has already made a trustee's responsibilities considerably more onerous. Furthermore, from April 2006, trustees will be required to have attained a certain level of knowledge and understanding of pensions issues in general and to be conversant with the terms of their own pension scheme in particular. These requirements, overseen by a more proactive and powerful regulator, continue to make the role of being a trustee ever more challenging.

LCP's view is that being able to demonstrate that trustees comply with these new requirements is just as important as complying itself.

Our Trustee Knowledge Advisory Service provides all that is necessary for trustees to gain the requisite knowledge, understanding and conversance whilst at the same time, through our assessment and certification process, demonstrate that trustees fully comply with the new regime.
