Richard is a Scheme Actuary and advises a range of corporate and trustee clients on all aspects of their pension arrangements. He has particular experience in using insured solutions to manage risk, having led LCP's advice on some of the major buyout and buy-in deals in recent years.
Having studied mathematics at St Hugh's College, Oxford, Richard joined LCP's London office in 1991 as a graduate recruit. He qualified as an actuary in 1996 and became a partner in 1999. He is the Head of LCP's Winchester office, having relocated there in 2003.
Richard is a regular conference speaker, most recently at LCP's series of briefings on the practicalities of closing to future accrual. He is a member of LCP's Pensions Professional Standards Committee.
