James Trask

James is a partner in LCP's investment department.
He read Mathematics at Durham University, graduating in 1993. After just over four years at another consultancy, he joined LCP in 1998 and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries shortly afterwards. He has also completed a post graduate course in investment management at the London Business School.
James has particular experience in investment strategy for defined benefit schemes, including wide-ranging experience in fixed income and liability-driven investment solutions. He has implemented a number of such solutions for clients and carries out research into fixed income investment managers. He is also experienced in the issues surrounding the closure and winding-up of defined benefit schemes, and sits on LCP's internal group that monitors the pensions buyout market.
In addition to looking after a portfolio of clients, James is responsible for human resources within LCP.
James is married and has two young daughters. His limited spare time is spent with his family and, as often as possible, playing golf.
