Adam Michaels

Adam joined LCP in February 2004, and became a partner in the investment department in 2009. He has a first class honours degree in Mathematics from Oxford University and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in 2001.
Adam provides advice to a wide range of pension schemes and companies, with a particular focus on investment strategy. He has a detailed knowledge of the workings of pension schemes, having previously worked as a pensions actuary at the Government Actuary's Department.
Adam is part of our Alternative Assets Panel, and leads LCP's research into tactical asset allocation and infrastructure investment.
He is part of our PPF Levy Group, which helps pension schemes minimise their annual PPF Levies. Adam's focus is on the way that investment risk is incorporated in the risk-based element of the levy.
Outside of work Adam is a keen cricketer, playing for several cricket teams including LCP's. His other interests include travel and snow boarding.
