LCP achieves “four in a row” with investment award win
9 February 2012
LCP's investment team made it four in a row at last night's Corporate Adviser awards - picking up the 2012 accolade for "Best Strategy for Investment Advice on Pensions".
As well as marking the fourth successive year of investment wins at the Corporate Advisor awards, the award also follows a hat-trick of wins in 2011 - for 'Investment Consultancy of the Year' at the UK Professional Pensions awards, 'Best Strategy for Investment Advice on Pensions' at the Corporate Adviser awards and 'Pure Consulting Investment Consultant of the Year' at the Financial News Awards for Excellence in Institutional Asset Management.
The Corporate Adviser awards acknowledge excellence in the provision and communication of advice and financial products through the workplace. The award for "Best Strategy for Investment Advice on Pensions" judges advisors on innovation and expertise in investment advice on pensions, clear communication of alternatives to default funds, the approach to market and regulatory challenges and the advice and service given to clients. Entrants must clearly demonstrate how they have achieved positive pension saving outcomes for employees and employers.
Ken Willis, Partner and Head of Corporate Investment Consulting at LCP, said: "Trustees and sponsors of pension schemes continue to face the challenges of the volatile financial climate. At LCP every member of the investment team works hard to support clients by offering proactive advice, which helps to maximise returns and minimise risk for our clients' pension schemes."
