LCP international consulting network expands in Asia on 20th birthday
1 February 2011
Three Asian firms have joined LCP's international network of independent actuarial consultancies, to provide coverage around the world.
The new firms, Thanawala Consultancy Services (India), Actuarial Consulting Group (Singapore, Malaysia, China & Hong Kong), and PT Dayamandiri Dharmakonsilindo (Indonesia) join as the LCP network celebrates its 20th anniversary, having been founded in 1991.
Alex Waite, Partner and International Director at LCP, said "I'm delighted to welcome these new members to our network. International companies increasingly need access to 'best of breed' local advisers around the world. The expansion of our network in Asia extends the footprint significantly and means that we can service client needs across the globe."
"LCP, which already has 7 offices in the UK and Europe, has been steadily growing its global network to include more leading independent actuarial consultancies. These consultancies now employ over 6,000 employees in more than 30 countries across Europe, North and South America, Africa and Asia, making it the largest independent network of its kind."
"This global coverage is increasingly important as our clients operating in, or expanding into different areas across the world want to know what benefits they are required to provide under local legislation, what they need to provide to be competitive, and the most effective way to manage and finance these benefits with minimal risk."
"In a period where many employee benefit consultancies have merged or been taken over, we are excited to have developed these new relationships with leading local actuaries in so many countries. We are also proud to have maintained connections for over 20 years with the network's other founding firms in the USA, Germany and France."
A total of ten companies have joined LCP's international network in the last three years. Other partner firms who have joined in this period include JP Actuary (Japan), Rodarte Nogueira (Brazil), Novaster (Spain and Latin America), LCP Libera (Switzerland), SPP Konsult (Sweden), LCP Netherlands and Premium Consulting (France).
