Executive Benefit Survey

LCP's 2005 executive benefit survey, conducted during October 2005, focussed on A-day; and was designed to test companies benefit design choices and level of preparation for the major tax changes.

Many companies are under-prepared for A-day, with few having set pensions policy, and many only just starting to come to terms with the challenges of communicating to members the impact of the new regime.

The main benefit design trends emerging suggest that companies are taking the opportunity to a reduce exposure to executive DB benefits.
