Who are LCP?


So you’re entering the final year of your course and everyone’s asking you “What are you going to do when you finish?”  “Have you got a job yet?”
Final exams are on your mind and the task of landing a job is not really something you want to add to your plate – especially as when your exams are over, enjoying the summer awaits!

Well, enjoying the summer is exactly what we want you to do, so that’s why our graduate training programme doesn’t start until the middle of September!

At which point a new chapter in your life awaits you – perhaps as an actuarial graduate at Lane Clark & Peacock. The pensions actuarial firm that has beaten the competition and won Actuarial Consultancy of the Year at the UK Pensions Awards for 2005, 2006 and 2007, adding the Investment Consultancy of the Year in 2007 too.

We are looking for high-performing recent graduates to join our team and if you have got what it takes, we have got it to give.

We set ourselves high professional standards, reflected in the fact that we have won the Actuarial Consultancy of the Year at the UK Pensions Awards for 2005, 2006 and 2007, also adding the award for Investment Consultancy of the Year in 2007. And we set very high standards for the graduate trainees we take on. So whether you join our Pensions, Investment or General Insurance team you'll be working with some of the very best and brightest in their field.

Corporate info
In a nutshell LCP is a specialist pensions consulting firm with over 65 partners and over 250 personnel, including approx. 80 qualified actuaries and 70 actuarial students. The firm originated from a sole practice founded in 1947 and in 1962 began to trade under the name "Lane Clark & Peacock".

We now trade as a limited liability partnership and benefit from the added strength of having Alexander Forbes, a leading global employee benefit consultancy, as a corporate member of the partnership. This gives us full access to the services and capabilities of an organisation represented globally with over 4,000 staff.

Our main offices are in London and Winchester with subsidiaries in Belgium and Switzerland.

We are not so big to have lost the personal touch, so you'll have no worries about being just one more faceless employee in a vast organisation. Yet we are large enough to be able to offer you experience on a wide range of projects with a variety of clients, including FTSE 100 and global companies, as well as the opportunity to make rapid progress in your career.
