How will changes to IAS19 affect companies?

This is a repeat of the session which was held on 20 July.

After several years of development, the International Accounting Standards Board has published its new version of the international pensions accounting standard IAS19. Now is the time for corporate sponsors of pension schemes to understand the impact of the future standard on their businesses.

This breakfast briefing will provide a clear explanation of the new standard, set out its implications using case studies, and highlight what actions companies can take.

International standards could ultimately replace UK and US GAAP, so the briefing will be of interest to all companies with defined benefit pension schemes, whether or not they currently report under IAS19.

IAS19 LCP Technical Workshop *NEW*

A practical, interactive session to examine the more technical aspects of IAS19 and develop pragmatic solutions.  The workshop will run from 10:30am to 12:30pm followed by a buffet lunch.  Please tick the 'optional technical workshop' tick box on the registration form if you would also like to attend this workshop.

This briefing (& following workshop) is appropriate for Finance Directors, Company Secretaries, Financial Controllers, HR Managers, Pension Managers or other individuals with a corporate responsibility or interest in IAS19.
